Lynn Edwards is a full time professional artist and art instructor living in the Atlanta, GA area. Her home studio is located in a beautiful natural setting that provides ample inspiration for the landscapes and mixed media collaged abstracts for which she is known. Teaching others to express themselves through art is one of her greatest pleasures. When she's not painting, Lynn can be found teaching others acrylic painting, abstract painting and mixed media collage at Kennesaw State University's Continuing Education Department in KSU's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

With a background in journalism and advertising, the written word plays an important role in many of Lynn's works. She especially likes to incorporate handwriting, symbols and foreign text into her designs, particularly when she can do so to personalize the artwork for an intended recipient. She especially enjoys hiding letters or script under layers of pattern and color so that viewers are led on a visual journey into and through each piece of art.
Lynn is an active member of both the Atlanta Artists Center and the Atlanta Collage Society. Her award-winning work has been accepted into numerous juried exhibitions and featured in print, national television, and international digital media.
